Hiding Vegetables

Today we took up the challenge, provided by New Zealand school resource producers 'Schoolkit', of hiding vegetables in our baking. Some of the Kea children hid carrots in our pikelets and they were delicious!

Haka

Whaea Mary-Anne has been taking us for Kapa Haka. Here is a sneak preview of the boys learning the Haka part. Super enthusiasm!

Kahurangi Dance Performance

Today we were treated to a fabulous performance by the Kahurangi Dance group. They sang waiata, performed haka and poi, showed us some traditional Mฤori games and shared stories through dance. 

Gymnastics with our buddies
